Important Date!
A friendly reminder to everyone that on Sunday, November 11th (Remembrance Day) classes will not be in session.
October in Review
Thank you all for joining our Halloween concert back in October. The event was a great success and we couldn’t have been happier to see all of the ghosts and ghouls there. The winners of our Halloween costume contest (the results calculated from a combination of both Ava Music Facebook and in-office votes) were Mika Joy (248 votes), Jaurve (with 223 votes), Anika Mae (with 114 votes), and Daniel (with 38 votes.) Congratulations to all of them! We’d also like to thank our performers of the night for their hard work. All of the students mentioned above have now received their prizes as appreciation on our part for their contributions. Thank you to all our entrants and everyone for voting as well!
Disney on Ice
For those of you wondering, we have four tickets left for “Disney on Ice” this month. If anyone is interested, please visit our office or call in for more details. A quick reminder that the show takes place on November 24th at 7:30 PM at the Pacific Coliseum.
Reader’s Choice Awards 2013
In other big news, Ava Music is a proud nominee for the North Shore News “Reader’s Choice Awards 2013.” Starting on Sunday, November 11th, you can vote for us in the “favorite retail” category. In addition, it’s very important for us to see your votes on Sunday, November 18th under the “service category” for the ”best music school.” If you like what we do, we would love and appreciate to have your votes this year! You could vote by filling out the ballot form in the North Shore News paper on the above dates or online at the North Shore News website. We will update with voting links as soon as they are available.
Ava Music Jingle Ball 2012
It is a great pleasure to inform everyone that our winter concerts will take place at Capilano Mall on December 8th and 9th. The participation forms will be available at the Ava Music office. The forms will also be e-mailed to all of our students. Please do not forget to sign in your name before November fifteeth if you would like to participate in the Jingle Ball concert this year.
